Membership and Entry Fees:
Members: Race – £47.50
Non-Members: Race – £57.50
Members: Practice – £35.00
Non-Members: Practice – £40.00
(Note: Registration isn’t required for practice, simply pop into in to race control and sign on).
All race entries MUST be submitted to the Competition Secretary, at the latest, seven days prior to the meeting. Failure to comply with this will incur an additional charge of £15.00, and may result in the driver starting from the rear of the grid for each heat.
How to enter:
To enter one of our race meetings all you need to do is download an entry form, and send it off to the competition secretary along with your entry fee. We can only accept entries from drivers with a current MSA kart licence.
If you just want to practice on Saturday you can just turn up and pay your practice fee, you don’t need to have a current MSA licence to practice on Saturday but your equipment must comply with the current MSA regulations.
If you want to be included in our club championship you must join the club by downloading a Membership Form and sending through to us along with your membership fee.
If you want to gain your MSA Licence, the ABKc has an excellent website with information for those thinking of Starting Karting.
SYKC offers full Association of Racing Kart Schools examinations. You do NOT have to attend a Kart School to take your test. To arrange your ARKS test please contact us.
In line with the South Yorkshire Kart Club and Motor Sport Associations Child Protection Policy we the promoters of the event request that any person wishing to engage in any video, zoom or close range photography should register their details with the secretary of the meeting at Race Control, before carrying out such photography.
South Yorkshire Kart club reserves the right of entry to events and may refuse entry to any person unable to meet or abide by the SYKC conditions.
